A new chargemaster lite experience

Just thought I'd share this. The clear plastic hopper had way loads of static. Fixed it with dryer static sheets. Using it without the wind cover it worked great. When I tried the cover it was all over the place. I finally noticed that as I moved the cover away it stabilized. Move it closer it freaked out. And the problem was? Also Mike Ezell turned me on to a good battery pack for it through Amazon. Gunsandgunsmithing he's a good guy!

Static electricity...
It happens with plastic covers... Wipe it down with the sheets also... Eventually it and the hopper will ease up with use..... It's always bad when new....

I've had mine for 4 or 5 months now what I do is plug it in let it warm up about 20 minutes then calibrate I never have run it with the cover on. it works great, love it

I hope to use it at the range. With the cover and a battery pack. I thought the thing was possessed for a moment.

First off, the instructions will tell you to wash the tube before using. This will solve the static problem.

If you have florescent lighting in your loading area, it can affect the stability of the scale. Line voltage variation will also have an effect on it. I use a 12 volt battery pack that supplies a constant voltage. This has solved that problem.

Notice when you remove the pan after a powder load, the tare weight will drift from time to time. When you see this, just put empty pan on scale and hit the zero button.

I can be anal when it comes to powder loads and I check the loads frequently with a balance scale. You might want to get a trickle charger if you want absolute accuracy. It's tedious and time consuming but for me knowing the charge is exact with each load is important and gives me confidence that if I do my part I have a better chance of getting those small groups.

Instructions! I don't need no stinking instructions! But she's all cleaned up. Battery and cable arrive today. This ain't for my 6 br its for my ar15 zombie blaster.
