I did get lucky last week to score on 5#s of Unique for $150.00 and just found a 8# jug of Bullseye for $300.00

I am sad to see those Alliant powders disappear, but also glad I had bought enough to keep me going for a while. The Reloader 7, 15 and 22 fuel the best loads in several of my rifles. I switched away from the "N" powders last time they all went away. Now they are all back. Like a yo-yo, seemingly always needing to switch things up. I guess we can't complain as long as we still have alternative options.....

But some of these powders are really getting up there in price - like the LT32. Dang!

Semantics aside, Midway makes money selling stuff. If and when they can get this powder, they most certainly will.

Alliant was asked this question directly and the response was posted on another forum. It's directly related to the availability of nitrocellulose. Same reason as the Powder Valley message.

Brad - No we are making powders and powders for civilian use as well.

Currently the bulk of the issue with powder (all powder companies) is the Lack of Nitrocellulose. Nitrocellulose is a key component in double base powders. All our powders are double base. The shortage of Nitrocellulose is caused from supply and demand. There are only two suppliers that manufacture Nitrocellulose. One out of the two currently shut down for the foreseeable future. Causing our current shortage.

Oh, it wasn't that bad. I got 1 lbs. of Varget, 1,000 Federal 205M and 1,000 Federal 100 (pistol) primers, I box of 250, Nosler 55 BT's, 3 boxes of Hornady 125 38 XTP's and two bricks of CCI Standard Velocity 22 LR.
