gas works fine, yes the fumes are flammable, but just like Alcohol, evap quickly
Alky is flammable, Acetone is flammable, your wifes nail polish remover is flammable, She smoke?
Anyone ever use a friggin Coleman lantern? with the fire source right above the flammable fuel tank?

I used to disagree with the state making laws just to protect people from themselves
I may have to rethink that
if a person struggles with 3rd grade fractions, then maybe use some citrus cleaner of some sort
just like with gunpowder in the house, use common sense with it

all I'm attempting to point out is
Gas is cheaper and more available than mineral spirits, which is also flammable, something we use to SPRAY highly flammable atomized paint into the air with...
One may use Gasoline with the same precautions as you would your flammable paint sprayer mmmmkay
(Laquer Thinner, MEK, Toluene? --- shall I keep going?)
