I used to use mirage shields but if you are shooting from a bench, try a battery powered fan. Nothing attached to your barrel and you blow the mirage away instead of trying to deflect it. I bet you never go back to shields.

Yeh but would the fan be allowed at some matches? I like the idea of it and it would help with barrel heat as well. Who makes that fan?
