Attachment of the fabric mirage shield

Looking for some ideas on barrel attachment for a fabric mirage shield on the FTR setup. The back end, I can attach to scope rings. What can I use on the front?

Have always gone the Velcro stick-on pads and window blinds. Don't like the sticky residue with the pad slipping.

I fashioned a small wire hook that looks like a mini coat hanger and attached one on each end of the shield by looping the fabric through the wire hanger and gluing the fabric to itself. The hook loops around the front sight base and the front scope ring. I dont know if you use a base up front but Im sure you can improvise

A cable/zip tie will work in a pinch!!

Small zip ties on the velcro on the barrel--keeps the glue from slipping on a hot barrel. Window blind painted gray, velcro seems to stay put there.
