A fun thread, what wildcat do YOU wish was mainstream

Since 90% of rifle shooters rarely, if ever, shoot past 250 yards, and because 30 Cal barrels tend to last longer, I think the 30BR should be produced. It's all most riflemen would need to win local 100/200 yard score matches.

Kurz Is not all that you are looking for in the 22BOZ accomplished with the 22TCM??? Maybe not 2500FPS but close and already mainstreamed.

For me I want a 22/300rum to shoot the long 80 and 90 grain match bullets. But I guess you would have to buy barrels 3 and 4 at a time.

The two cartridges are very close in case capacity but trying to judge how close they are without doing any side by side testing/shooting is sort of fallacious. We can guess and we can suppose but that's it. I'm also not so sure I would attribute the term 'mainstream' to the description of the TCM. But opinions vary so it will depend upon who wants to portray each cartridge as being what. ;):D

Pick your poison and just get out there and shoot!:)

Well I guess mainstream to me means not having to spend a fortune in dies, cause reamers are pretty much all custom and cost close to the same. But $30 dollar dies and $250 dies make one mainstream and the other not. Your YMMV
