I believe it was the owner of Cerus’ personal gun that was in Raton, on the line, in pouring rain. His stock is pure artwork. Inlays, the works.
Soaked.

Many years back, I went hunting with a friend that had a nice Springfield rifle. No safe queen to be sure. It started to rain and he actually cried when his rifle got wet. I think I was using mine as a crutch.
Back then, "Clear Coat" wasn't even invented. I think we used my covered wagon to get there. I do remember we had a dead battery and hiked a bit till we found someone to give us a jump. Got to town and got a new battery. Never fired a shot!!

Nice thing about clear coat, you can always just wet sand and buff it again. Use them! Nice work as usual Keith.
