A&d fx120i Help!!

Sorry I guess I should have explained better. When I was saying inconsistent I talking about velocities
The good thing about the AD FX series is that it rules out charge weight incondistancy as a cause for velocity variations given that you have it calibrated and sitting on a very solid surface. I would examine other causes than powder weight variation.

Ok these aren’t the same loads I have been using. Should have mentioned that. I am working new loads up and it is all over. Some groups I might get 3 round that are consistent then one will jump up or down. Then sometimes they are all way different. I have loaded a charge and it be right on and before I put a bullet in it. Put it back on scale to check it. And it be off close to a whole gr. But not every time.
If you have double checked a load by weighing it twice and it is sometimes off by a whole grain, then you have a real issue with the scale. There are a number of possibilities. Drafts created by the furnace, power surges, erratic power supply, static electricity from nearby fluorescent lights, vibrations from a not solid table, not level, and last but not least, simply a defective scale. My fx120i will never vary by more than .02 grns.. unless one of the above has it off kilter.
