I just talked to Cambridge. With the USD increase relative to CAD, he thought the current price would come in around $409, I think his math was off and it will be closer to $420, but either way, it's gone down in price.

I asked about a sale price. That was a no-go, but he did mention a manufacturer price increase will be hitting April 1.

It came in at $525 + $25 shipping in CAD. Since the exchange rate is better (for the USD), the USD total was $454.32 shipped.

$400 is back where is used to be. I think there was a huge rush on them due to forum discussions when they raised the price to sell with the demand. Now, I don't hear much about the FX and the sales are probably slow, so down comes the price.

Jump on it...it's one heck of a scale! Just unpacking it you immediately know you have quality...same as pulling a NF scope out of the box!!!

Remember when Jesus drove the money changers out of Herod's temple in Jerusalem? Well, they're back in the form of PayPal and your local bank is probably a lot worse. So are the credit card companies.

When I dealt with Cambridge they only accepted PayPal. PayPal charges a fee for currency conversion which seems to be around four percent. My bank (PNC) hit me with a 20% conversion fee for the deposit of a check written in pounds sterling into US dollars. Was tempted to throw all their money on the ground and upset their tables since that would be the answer to WWJD.

AAA at one time would exchange some amount of US bucks into other currency at the current exchange rate with no fee. It was not a lot of money and they called it a Tip Pak IIRC. Apparently they saw the opportunity to be greedy also. They still have Tip Paks but there's a service charge.

Dave nailed it. I got 1.2106CAD per dollar from Paypal, the published rate on the 26th was 1.2474 which was about a 3% difference.

Loving mine so far. I would say it cut my powder charging time by almost 50%.
