A 6x45 for Dad

So after 3 years of hunting Coyotes and Fox with a 6x45 and falling in love with it I built one for my dad.

I built his on a Tikka T-3 Action and used a Benchmark #3 8 twist barrel. I also painted the factory synthetic stock and Cerakoted the metal in the color Stainless.

Test Target 3 shots 100 yards.

Nice job, I really like the webbing you did on the stock.

Thank you. I am lucky to have the Dad I do and I will never be able to pay him back for all the stuff he has done for me.

The load is 26.0gr of H-4895, Fed 205 Primer, Lapua 223 brass necked up and a 75 Hornady HP .010 off the lands. My load for my own 6x45 is all of the above but 26.5 gr of H-4895.

I love the 6x45 its my main coyote rifle and just shoots very well on any given day and hits yotes hard with little pelt damage. I think it hits way harder than a 223.

LOVE the 6x45.

Would you care to shed some light on the load you utilized for testing?
That is normal for the 6-223/6x45,6TCU.

I would have a harder time telling you what doesn’t work. I am on my fifth one and first full length rifle.
