95gr MK load info

Would any one who have tested the 95's in 6mm BR share load info; powder,primers. I am shooting 28" kreger 1in8 twist. Chris Sierra 95's

Hi Chris,

I use 30.5 gr Varget behind 95 Nosler ballistic tip. CCi450 Lapua brass. Have gotten 3/4" at 200yd. This is a top load for my rifle so work up to it. Hanic

I have my 95's loaded, when seating bullets my bullet depth's were all over,stoney point measured at ogive). I laid 10 bullets out and checked them longest .621 shortest .606 this is not good?

You mean you measured 10 bullets base to ogive and got .015 variation? Nope. That ain't good at all. Something must have got loose somewhere. Bill

Lynn, I just added 1gn. to my 103/5/6 load

31.9 R15 95SMK 3080FPS CCI450

That is really the only development I did because it worked so well.

The initial run of experimental bullets had ~15thou of bearing surface variation, but I have not checked nor fired the production bullets.

I went to the range today, windy 15 to 20mph and gusting.
Shot SMK 95'S AT 100 yrds. Wanted to shoot at 300, just to windy.
RE-15 CCI-450 Just touching lands

29.5 grns .594
29.8 grns .437
30.0 grns .818 pulled last 2 first 3 were .154
30.3 grns .634
30.5 grns .574

No prep Lapua brass powder seated bullets, shot off by-pod and rear bag.

Yes I pulled them, most of my groups were round with one out a little. My shooting skill's are no where near most shooters on this forum, for an across the course rifle at my skill level I'm pleased.

Hi again, tested more of the 95's, tried Varget this time.
Segregated bullets by ogive. I am shooting a Gary Eliseo R-5
Smithed by Greg Tannel of Gre-Tan Rifles, both of whom were very great guys to talk to, and full of helpful advice. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Both the groups that I droped would have been mid 3's or low 4's if I held better. Yea, IF IF IF
All rounds loaded mag length 2.325 AOL around .025 to .030 jump.
