Are there any modifications that can be done to .308 AICS magazines run the 90’s at Mag length in a .223? Can the feed lips be altered that much or am I stuck single feeding the 90’s.

What about the MDT and Lancer .223 mags? I don't have a build for it yet (one of my 2018 'to-do' projects), but I've seen people talking about these as replacements for the AI .223 mags that are apparently no longer sold?

I've seen AICS mags that have been customized to feed 223. Bend the lips and fill the insides of the mag with devcon to get it to the right width.

I use accurate mags for my 223ai with 80s. A round file the the front of the plastic insert gets you more room.

Looking at that picture I'm thinking you might be able to load a properly seated 90 if you cut out the entire front of the plastic.

Now I need to research it.

You could glue it to the inside of the steel part if you did that, maybe... the follower might move forward and bind them though

MDT aics 223 mags can handle just about 2.500" Should be good enough for 90's in 223rem.

Same here. Run a Polymer MDT mag, or Dremel/file a notch in an Accurate mag.
223AI FF load, 75Amax @ 2.475" in a modded 5rd Accurate mag:
