80 GR Bart Dominator

Brett shot the test rounds ,all three shot groups,13 to15 mph wind, I phone said 16 so wind speed could be off a little. most off the groups were .200 or little under one went out to about .360, the last three shot group was .14x. Shot very well in that condition. Good that Brett was shooting it, don't think I would have shoot that well. There are a lot of variables in the speed check, we had a .237 bore where others may have a .236 and a long barrel which could make a big difference in velocity

Jim The barrel we used was a Grinch barrel that didn't live up to the standards of the others we have, so I ran the BRA reamer over the Grinch chamber and made it the BR Improved for fire form so decided just check the speed with it. After seeing it shoot in those conditions may have to go back and check it out more. I didn't think it would shoot that well

Jim,

Dean and his Son Brett are both accomplished short range and 600 yard shooters. The 80 gr Dominator was actually Brett's idea. Brett just won at St. Louis last week shooting the 80 gr Dominators. So Dean knows what a competitive tune is.

Just want numbers is all when the bullet is going 3250 and hammering the mid zeros or less is why. if it is doing that at 3400 I will to visit it. Also the lots of 8208 vary so much that maybe an issue also.... Jim

This barrel that I was testing shot very small in fact it shot an .020 and a .054 back to back but if the wind blew forget it,it was less than average barrel ......it would FF. in a .1 with the 80 gr. bt. of Barts...... Jim
