8-32-56 Nite Force Scope

I just bought this nite force scope. Are their any good lens covers out there that work good on this scope? I like the screw on,but seem to have a problem finding them to fit.I would use the rubber one that was supplied but my scope is only about a eight of a inch off the barrel. I guess i will have to go to a higher mount if i can't find a cover. 8x32x56

I believe I saw them for sale some place. Mine came with aluminum screw in covers. Did you check the Nightforce Website? Matt

They have a screw on but if you are hunting you have to un screw them and put them in your pocket.i would have thought they would have one as nice as the leupold flip up.

Cut a truck inner tube and use that. Has been working for me for 50+ years. Learned it from a trapper in the Yukon Territority.

Butler Creek makes the flip-up caps for both the objective and ocular ends.

Butler Creek are going to be the most popular out there for a flip up lens cover. I use them on all my hunting guns. As long as you get the right size for your scope, they work great.

+1 on the inner tube. If you loose it, you just go get another one.

Have custom leather caps on my NF 8-32x56 ---- sent Rick Averill measurements to make up fabrication tooling etc. and caps arrived a few weeks later. They are extremely well made, functional and look great!

Rick is a great guy to deal with ---- this NF size should now be one of his standard offerings. I liked them so much, I had Rick make caps for six

Hi LR,

To answer your question, you should probably get the next higher rings, then use the Butler Creek Bushwacker model that flips over somewhat like the nice Leupolds. I know what you are dealing with - having only an 1/8th inch to work with. I went higher and then got the Bushwackers.

Have you considered the ScopeCoat, it proteces the whole scope and comes off quick.

euro optics has flip up caps that are way better than butler creek. I cant remember the brand. the objective screws on and the eye piece clamps on with a screw. They are great and have lasted. Worth every penny.
