What is a reasonable barrel life expectancy for a 7RSAUM? I understand there will be variables, but what are your experiences? Thanks for the advice.

I second the WSM for being the cartridge that gives the most while taking the least, they aren't hard on barrels (my friend won IBS shooter of the year while back) and when he did set a few record that have since been broken but he started the year at over 2000 rounds and it was over 3000 at the end of the year. I have one set up for hunting that will shoot in the .1's at over 3000fps with a 208 amax.dkhunt14 said:In 1000 yard BR most barrels are losing enough accuracy by 5 to 700 rounds that they need rechambered or you aren't going to win much anymore. The 300 WSM is the one where I get the most rounds out of before accuracy fall off. Matt
