7mm08 accuracy?

Hat of for Laurie, he inspired me to building my 708, its a T3 with ar 9” Krieger barrel that i have been using the last two years. I started with Hodgdon H4350 with great result but it is not allowed to use in Sweden any longer. I use a full case of Swiss Reloading RS62 (long funel) with the 150 Scenar at 2950 mps with a verry low preassure (-25% from max preassure in QL), not quite a 1/4 moa but close enough.

Same Powder for the second bullet 162 ELD-M and it runns at 2780 mps but the bullets are realy difficult to get hold of in Sweden so I havent compeeted with this bullet. The twist with this load is that i use necked down Lapua Palma cases with small primer and togehter with the BC7 .327 (Linz) for the 162 ELD-M, this should be a wind braker with low vertical at ranges up to 900 yards, at least as good as any of the non overbore 6.5 calibers.

This was supposed to be my training system for my 7 SAUM but i love this litte bastard, its like a bumble bee, the old design delivers surprislingly high speed (28" barrel) and accuracy at low preassure.

Have a nice day

We have local benchrest matches here that are shot at 100yd and a couple of 200yd shoots. They run a so called sporter class. The rules are basically an all factory rifle with hunting style stock shot off front bag only. Was wondering how accurate a 7mm08 would be for this?

They also have a open class which I'm still finishing up a 30br for.

Both classes are for score.
I have a HB/varmint, recessed barrel (I think) semi old, flat top receiver Savage 7-08 repeater. not the new target trigger. Super accuracy. so it is a factory set up.

If you stuff 7mm-08 into a medium length action so you can feed rounds loaded out to 3"+ you would be shocked how much performance you can get out of it.

I have a hunting rifle in 7mm08 and for pure accuracy (not deer hunting) I use the Sierra HP 100 gr #1895. It's extremely accurate to 200 yards.
With H-4895, 22" barrel, I found 2 nodes at 44.8 and 47.4
