I run VV165 in my 7 rsaum 64.2g ,175 SMK's -25th, BR2's @3050 fps ( work up to this load its warm!! ) this is a very cool running powder that is often overlooked.

How long is your barrel? What brass? OAL?

I finally got to the range with a chronograph and here are the results.

New Nosler 7mm SAUM brass; 180 Berger VLD; 210M Primer in all loads. .015" into the lands. Temperature was 45 degrees.

Retumbo
64.5 gr 2869 fps
65.5 gr 2925 fps .40" @ 100 yards
66.0 gr 2950 fps .36" @ 100 yards

H1000
64.5 gr 2917 fps

Reloder 25
61.0 gr 2781 fps
62.0 gr 2811 fps .566" @ 100 yards
63.0 gr 2890 fps .485" @ 100 yards

I didn't experience sticky bolt lift on any load.

My plan is to play at 300 yards with 65.5 to 66.0 gr Retumbo and seating depth.

Dzelenka, your Retumbo numbers are close to what I achieved. I was 50 to 100 fps faster with a 30" melonited barrel and the temp was about 80 F. I was also using a QSM sound suppressor which adds a bit. I like Retumbo in my limited testing up to 66 grains. Seated long but still compresses in Norma brass. No pressure isues and I like the smooth recoil which matches the plot on Quickload. I just built a new house and my stuff is in storage. Still need to decide between H1000 and Retumbo.

All of the Retumbo loads were 15-17 fps ES with 66.0 being lowest. I don't know how useful the information is as I only fired 3 shots with each load. I was just looking to get an idea about velocities.
