7mm rsaum brass ?

I just tied to order some 7mm saum cases today at Midway and seen they are out of stock and no back order. It`s got me kind of worried cause my guns on the "chopin block" and should be done soon. Has anyone heard if it`s been discontinued or something of that manner? I don`t want to be stuck with a gun I cant get cases for... Bruno`s got them but how long??? I could put the brakes on this project tomorrow if I find something out.

Thanks, patchhound.

p.s. Please spare the rem brass bashers, the cases I`ve looked over so far checked pretty good.

You can run 300 RSAUM through a FL 7mm die. That is what I am doing so I can use Nosler and Norma brass.

You might think about 7WSM it might be around a bit longer than than the Remington version but I think if you do some shoping there is still some brass around

Norma`s got 300 RSAUM brass? Please say where I can find it!!! I don`t think the remmy brass is all that bad but I didnt think it would be hard to find either. Maybee I should`nt worry about it, it don`t seen too likly that Rem would drop out so quick on a good cartrige. Hope not anyway...

I found the 300 RSAUM Norma brass at Midway

It's currently on sale

Thanks guys, I dint know about the stuff... Will have to try it. What kind of case life are you getting with the norma brass, is it better than rem? Also, could you share some load data please. I plan to use what shoots best from 162 A-max-180VLD. Need start loads.

Thanks, patchhound.

Patchhound-
Your Remington brass is plenty good with todays processes.
Keep it clean and annealed every couple of times and it will last you forever.
Not knocking Norma brass, but it's pretty expensive compared to Remington for what will be gained by using it.
I've checked out, and tweaked all my 7mm SAUM brass,500) from Remington every way I can, and it's really pretty good with no more variance than any other........ the few that were off scale are used for set ups.....
This brass shoots into way less than MOA at 300 yards, so whats not to like ?
Enjoy the 7SAUM it's a keeper !!!!!

Thanks preacher, I was a bit concerned with the case life of my brass. I do plan to aneal my cases too. Any load data. I want to use H1000 but I can`t find any data fot it for the 7saum.

Thanks, that`s what I was lookin for. Maybe I should update my manuals cuase horn. and nos. stop with AA3100. I want to make the most with a 30" bbl and I guess H1000`s a good place to start. I should see at least 100fps over a 24" test bbl. I will find out soon:D
