i've been reading the 7 mm cartridge page, and great job!!! alot of info, but what about the 280 rem. ? what is the case capacity and how does it fit in compared to the other 7mm's.those 7mm's are looking better all the time...... cliffe

The 280 Reminton's case capacity is about the same as a .284 Winchester........

Comparative Case Capacity:

.284 Winchester: 66.0 grains

.280 Remington: 67.50 grains

.284 Win Improved,Shehane): 69.3 grains

7mm WSM: 81.0 grains

YMMV slightly based on your chamber and brand of brass.
