7mm/08 or 280Rem Sporter?

I'm wanting to build a lighter hunting rifle and have 7mm Brux blank (#3 contour) and a Rem700 Long Action. Game will be mostly whitetails but they've opened a black bear season in my area. I am recoil sensitive. I had a 280 Rem in mind originally, but see that brass is hard to get. Lapua is set to make 7/08 brass and I've had great experience with their brass in my 6br and 260. Would a 7/08 feed ok from a long action? Anyone use either of these rounds? Feedback appreciated.
I would go with 7mm-08 if recoil is an issue. I have one and have found it more than sufficient for deer & feral hogs. I have hunted with 7mm-08, 280 & 280 AI. My thoughts FWIW. Good luck with new rifle either is a good choice.

Both of my teenage boy's and my girlfriend all shoot a 7-08 with excellent results on both deer and elk. The girlfriends gun is a weatherby vanguard and my boy's shoot remington model 7's. My low recoil load for them is a 120gr barnes ttsx and rl15.
