788 trigger help

Bought a timney trigger and had a gunsmith install it,but if i ever sell the rifle, want to put the 788 trigger back in place.Looking at the trigger, how do you remove the darn thing, sure not like a 700 trigger ??Thanks for any info. terry

Its held in with a single roll pin though the housing and a stud on the receiver. Its directly below the forward edge of the bolt recess notch in the receiver. You'll also see a set screw at the very front of the housing that bears against the receiver. Loosen the set screw a turn or so then tap the roll pin out, but be careful. The mounting stud is soldered to the receiver. Make sure the trigger housing is fully supported around the pin when tapping it out.
