77 gr. SMK 223 Loads

24.5 of varget with a 77smk is pretty much a standard load and I think thats in the 2700-2800 range, but honestly, I never chrono'd it. I currently use 25.0grs N540, which is stout and have no clue what its running out. Out of an AR, I really dont care as long as it prints what I want it to print...cleans.
You will find, however, a ton of data out there for the 77s in an AR15.

Mudcat nailed it, this is what I switched too from N-135.
24.50grs. Varget with a 77gr SMK out of my 28" Krieger is pushing 2840 fps @ .005 off, and prints .625" at 300 if I do my part. Check www.long-range.com and www.nationalmatch.us for a full list of AR loads.
