I have a standard Remington 700 223 that inconsistently extracts / ejects the cartridge after firing. It does not seem to be brass make dependent.
Its about an even split; 1/3 or less of the time it stays in the chamber, 1/3 or more of the time it pulls from the chamber and drops on the follower after firing, the remainder it ejects.
I can t see any obvious issues with misalignment, or funny marks on the brass that would lead me to something to work on.
Has anybody had this similar issue and solved it, and how?
The gun shoots great, feeds great.
Thanks for the help!
