I would ay 2950 give or take with 180 and 184 grain Berger's and a 32" barrel is realistic. Maybe 3000 with the right bullet and powder. I have shot the 180 and 184s from 18 inch to 30 inch but never quite gotten to 32. No personal experience with other bullets either.

@FeMan What kind of velocities were you seeing from a 18'' barrel?

I've been using H1000 with a 162ELDM and getting 2790fps. I'm curious to see if I could achieve 2750fps with N565 and either a 175 EH or possibly a 180 Hybrid from my 18" hunting rifle.

I have the 7 WSM. My go to powder is Reloader 25. It might work with your 7SAUM.

I got 2688 fps with H4831sc and 175 ELDXs in an 18" barrel. That was a MAX load in that rifle but shot bugholes. If you wanted to try for more speed, N560 would be a better choice IMO based on the case volume. It'll be tough to get much more velocity out of any powder with a barrel that short.

For comparison, I am getting 2823 fps from a 22” barrel with EH175 and H1000.

I ran the 190 Berger hybrids 2920 through a 24" barrel. It didn't show pressure but I wouldn't want to push past that. H1000,ADG brass.
