i understand the ogive is the curved non-bearing surface of the bullet. the number asigned to an ogive describes it's shape and the vlds have larger numbers. i bought some bullets with a 7/11 ogive. does this mean the curved portion of the bullet is somewhat stepped, not a gental slope? is this the same as a "double radius" ogive? i have some listed as a 7 ogive also. these are all benchrest bullets. is there evidence that these ogives contribute to accuracy as opposed to others? thanks.
