Hey all. I've decided to attempt a different bullet in .223 F/TR rifle. I have a Wylde chamber, 1/7, for use of heavier bullets. But when seating to .005" off the lands, I have very little bullet in the case with my Berger 80gr VLD. I thought about trying 90gr, but they're impossible to find and way to expensive. The VLD is obviously a secant ogive, so I'm thinking something with a tangent ogive would reach the lands earlier, thus leaving more bullet in the case. I'm I thinking straight?
Also, who makes such a bullet in 77, 80 or 90gr? Product descriptions leave a lot to be desired
