6XC SRP or LRP

I have tested them both. Velocity is about 20-25 fps faster with LRPs and SD is lower with SRPs.
I would use what you have a supply of.

Late response but ..... what @wboggs stated is what I found as well. I was sponsored by Peterson while they were still making 6XC loaded ammo and they gave me some of each to try. Their ballistician confirmed the same thing as well - with a given load the LRP was slightly faster, while the SRP had lower SD's.

When I reloaded that brass it was this continued to hold true.
I ended up using the SRP for long line loads for the tighter SD's and it was easy to identify my brass since the long line is prep'd with more care, while my short line loads are just smashed through the Dillon 550 as fast as I can pull the handle.

Good Luck,
Ross

Going to start with srp. One main reason for this build was to get a round that uses srp and based on all I'm reading the cci 450s should work very well in this round.
I shoot a 6mm round formed from Peterson 260 SRP brass and i shoot 43.5 grains of N160 and cci 450s. No problem what so ever

I have both lrp and srp for my 6xc and the barrel shoots both good for me .2's to .4's but I have a good barrel it likes ething but nosler rdf 105's it will shoot them in a 2 inch circle sometimes 3..I sold most of the rdf's and threw the others away..I know I ripped somebody off but they never msg me cussin
