I know red stag and others are part of the deer family, I should have stipulated whitetail deer sorry ! 25 years ago a game warden asked in a class what cartridge do we think has killed the most deer ,I said a 22lr he didn't say a word but regretfully nodded his head .

Another powder that works great with 115gr bullets is H4831SC. I'm getting sub 1/2 MOA @ 3100fps.

I intend to get a reamer to test the Berger 115gr VLD and their 105gr range of bullets. Can anyone suggest the free bore require for this task? Twist rate will be 1 in 7.5". Thanks.

Just got a reamer for the berger 105's it has a .140 freebore hope that helps.

Kingfisher has a reamer with 0.148FB for DTAC 115g, so I am guessing that the 0.140FB should be good for both Berger 105g and 115g. Anyone else has hands on experience? Thanks.
