Trevor:
I burned one 6mm barrel out using DTAC 115's(old style), to me, specifically with smaller capacity 6mm cartridges like the XC there is NO reason to shoot them. Their bearing surface is long and will lessen the life of your barrel more quickly.
I have switched to 105 Hybrids, run them harder, have less fouling and shoot as good or better. I am using a straight 243 now, so up in the 3180 ish range.
Current barrel has done well with Hybrids I will keep them going till it dies, have next barrel chambered and ready same 8 twist will give the 110's a chance when I break it in but will have no problem staying with hybrids.
New reamer looks like a .127 lead.
Hope that helps.
