The only way I know to remove them is with a reamer. Larry
Make sure your throat is carbon Free, finding your BTO should be easy knowing the only thing stopping the bullet from hitting the lands (only) is the lands, Chamber a long seated bullet, Make sure it passes the concentricity test before you chamber it (its got to be concentric) then inspect the bullet (Magnifying lens) for scratches and land contact. If you need more throat. Do it. If you need donuts out, ream them out. If you need more help PM me.My brass is Norma 6XC only fired in this chamber. However, the chamber seems a little odd as it has a very short throat.
I use a mandrel with 600 grit psa after INR, seems to smooth out the INR Marks I thinkThe problem with the inside reamer (as Matt will tell you) is it scratch the inside of the neck and that can affect "neck tension" and all the consequences..... When the OP said "it will do the job...", sure it will remove the donut, but.....![]()
Thank you noload. I am going to work on it.
