6xc freebore ?

I have shot all 3 bullets you mentioned plus the 105 Berger VLD in my mid-sized 6mm and the freebore is .120". The neck on my case is .350" long and this much feebore allows me to seat the bullets out where they belong. My reamer was also ground by Dave Kiff. If you can't decide what to use make up dummy rounds for all three bullets, seated where you want them, and send them to your reamer maker.

My current reamer,used for the last 2 years) has a 3/4 degree lead with about .050" of straight section. I like this for the 115's in the 6XC. A meplatted 115 seated in the 6XC should be just off of the rifleing with an OAL of approx 2.740"

In the next month SSS will receive approx 150,000 pieces made from Indian cups. Based on my past experiences with these cups this run will have a very hard head. These cups draw better than domestic cups so hopefully concentric measurments will good.,The Indian's know how to make better brass than most anyone else - they use a lot of brass items in their culture) Additionally around the end of the year there will be a 2nd source for 6XC brass. If I were you I would hold out for the current Indian cup run. As far as domestic 22-250 I liked the Rem if I was going to fireform.
