6xc freebore

Seating the full diameter at the base (boattail excluded)of the bullet past the neck shoulder junction (Donut/constriction) is not conducive to good accuracy.

I just see a lot of shooters with a .107 and .090 freebore. Since I am going to stick with the 105s to 107s I was wanting to keep the freebore close to allow for erosion.
I wonder that these shorter freebores I am seeing people using are a 3/4 lead which would be a longer throat due to the shallower angle.

I am having a hard time finding a barrel making who can set up a contour I want on a savage with the chamber specs I want. Any suggestions

Again most who can do a 7 twist or 7.5 twist on a savage profile I want can only do a .090 freebore. How would this react to a 105 hybrid bullet

I don't have a XC, but a creedmoor, and with my 104FB Bartlein and the DTACs kissing the lands the pressure ring sits right at the neck shoulder juncture, will be testing those this coming weekend. If I were to have another reamer made it would have a 114FB, that would also be perfect for 105 Hybrids as well.
