AR-Comp has become my Swiss Army Knife of powders. While it won’t milk every last FPS from a caliber/bullet combination, it is very stable across wide charge ranges. It’s all I use in my 6.5 Grendel and 308’s love it with the 168 and lower bullets.

Following this thread. I’ve been using 37.5 H4350 with 87vmax in my 26” 1-8 Wilson barreled Tubb for 200 yards. Never really did a load work up.

Why? I simply put it on top of my 105 hybrid load.

But, since I’m about out of 105 hybrids, I’ve got to do load development with 105 VLDs and 108s.

So, it’s time to do a whole work up with the 87s too. I would have thought the Vargets and AR Comps to be too fast for 6XC. Learning every day…

243 and 6 REM both love 4064 so that’s where I’d start

H380 works....used it since I had an 8 pounder gathering dust.

87 Vmax still blew up PD's at 800-900 yards........ Those 8 twist RPM's we're doing there job.....from a retired LR BR barrel.
