6x47 Lapua Same amount of RL17 & H4350?

I have done some research, but would like to know if 6x47 shooters are using similar amounts of RL17 and H4350 with 105-115 bullets. And....How many grains and what velocity.

Thanks,

Chris

In my 6XC I am able to use one grain more Re17 than H4350. With my barrel that is 38.5 gr. of 17 for about 2900 fps. Fed. 210M primers, 115 DTACs (coated), Norma brass.

My 6x47L has a 26" Broughton tube. I have only tested and shot the 107SMK in this.

Top end with H4350 is 40gr with velocity of 3030ish fps and good accuracy.

With RL17 I am shooting 40gr and getting 3166fps. Accuracy is excellent and I could go to perhaps 41 gr but am satisfied as is so will stay there. Primer is 450 in all loads. 10moa to get to 600yds.

Haven't tested RL17 in my XC yet. It has a 26" Rock Creek tube. Currently using Win brass, moly 107SMK's and 39.5gr of H4350 @ 2950ish fps. BR2 primer. Need to dig out my Norma brass and test the RL17. This load needs 13.25 moa to get to 600yds.

Respectfully,
Dennis
