6X47 Lapua Questions

A few questions:

1. Anyone getting less than 20 firings out of the brass?
2 At around 39 grains of H4350, what velocity with 105 VLDs?
3. Which brand of SRMP do you use?
4. Accuracy. Let's say average group for 5 shots at 300 yards.
Oh. and average barrel life for those have changed barrels a bit
Thanks in advance.

I don't shoot the 105 VLD any more. I shoot the 108 BT. 39 Gr H4350 @ 3040 FPS. CCI 450's. The dial ups are dead on to 1200 yards with my Shooter App. I run about 1/3 to 1/2 MOA (around 1 inch) 5 shot groups at 300 yards with the weighted up Factory VS stock and a bi pod. I have 8 firings and the primer pockets are as new. I really love this combo. I occasionaly bring new shooters out to shoot steal out to XXXX, and this is what I have them shoot. Their first impression is that you can't get there from here with that little thing!!! Low recoil, high probability of first round hits!! What is not to love??

My lapua brass has made it well into the teens on reloads.
40 grains of H4350 gives me 3150 fps out of a 26" 8 tw kreiger with 105 hybrids...no pressure issues either.
At 300 my best groups are around 1"

I've been shooting 6x47L since the fall. Have shot it in 4 PRS matches now. I haven't had a day with no wind to see what it can really do, but here is one of the test groups I shot on paper when developing my load.

This is a 10 round zeroing group at 100 yards I shot the day before leaving for the PNTC match (1/2" dots):

The velocity readings from that group:

I'm pretty happy with it. Although, if factory 6mm Dasher brass had been available, I probably would have went that route instead.

This cartridge has some potential with 115 DTACs with some of the newer powders. Here is a group I shot while breaking in the barrel:

At 100 yards with 45 gr. of RL-26 and a 105 hybrid. It was going at 3201 fps. avg. At that time the 39.8 gr. H4350 load above was only going 3014 fps., so I suspect it is even faster now. Haven't played with it since because I was already above the PRS velocity limit. I'm going to try RL-26 with 115 DTACs when the throat erode a little more, so that they aren't seated into the donut area.
