I think a 6 x 45 or 6x45 AI would be my choice . Low recoil and cheap cases .
Unable to view for some reason. Congrats!First one with the 87Vmax, 6x47L. made a nice thump!

Did that work?
What powder did you use in your 243?By all accounts, the 87Vmax is a coyote smasher, extraordinaire!
Have shot alot of those bullets out of a .243Win, and now 6x45AI They are plenty accurate for field shooting, cheap and kill without inpunity. Not pelt friendly @ .243Win speeds...Damage Inc.
My little 6x45AI throws them @ 2875 from only a ~25gr charge.
87Vmax, 3 & 5 shots @ 100, .010" off the lands. That'll do for coyote detail...

I'd think the 6x47L would be a nice platform to launch them from & bet they'd crowd 3150 from a 20" barrel.
Having a 6x47L built now for 105/115s, but will try the good ol' 87Vmaxs, just for a goof.
Have fun!!!
