Hi folks,
I have a 6x47 lap shooting 105 amax which shoots very well. Its a no turn neck. I use imr4350 powder ignited by a rem 71/2 br primer. I get groups around .16 inch at 100 yards and es is 17 and sd 7.
I have heard a few people saying that the round is hardto tune and make accurate. I have not experienced this but what is the general consensus on this?
What factors attribute to this? Ie,
Should the flashholes be reamed?
Should you run a no turn neck or turn necks?
Primer choice?
Powder choice?
I have never had orshota 6br so I have no baseline to compare a 6mm round to so what are youre real world experiences over the accuracy comparison of the two rounds and has anyone gone back to 6br after using the 6x47?
Garry
