6PPC Collet die for 6BR

Saw posted a couple of times where people are using a 6PPC Lee Collet die on their 6BR brass. Are there any alterations needed to make it work? Tricks? Limitations?

Thanks,
Bill

Kept having problems with mine... the decapping pin would get stuck in the flash hole, and eventually broke off. Went back to Wilson/Redding dies for that caliber.

Hey rayjay, how'd you do that? Can it be done without a lathe? How far up the pin do you have to thin?

Thanks,
Bill

I have a set of 6PPC collet dies I will sell you if you want to try them. I didn't like them for the 6BR because they didn't size all of the way to the end of the neck. They left a slight bell on the end of the neck. I went ahead and sent 2 cases and bullets to Lee to have a custom set made. That's the only way to do it as far as I'm concerned. The Lee collet die is really a great way to go about neck sizing brass.
