6PPC casings

What is the going rate these days for new 6PPC brass? I have some that I need to sell for a family member but it's kinda difficult to get pricing on something that I can not find if you know what i mean. Any ideas? TIA

The last ones I found in retail store were $80.00 per 100. Maybe more now days with current situation on loading supplies.

That is PPC USA brass. It is used in factory chambered rifles. Not quite the same as the commonly used Lapua for benchrest.

Keep in mind, that these are different from the 6PPC that what most of us shoot. The Norma cases are thicker in the base and require a different chamber. Check out both of these pages. First one is a price from Brownells, Second is a discussion on the difference between the two cartridges.

Interestingly, I had a Bob Dodd built LV 6PPC rifle on one of his XP100 style actions. I tried some Lapua 220 Russian brass once fired in my PPC rifle. It would not fit the Dodd chamber. I called him and he said of course it won't my reamer is based on Norma cases. This was 20 years ago so dimensions may have changed.

It figures that it would be painful. So the cases I have are the newer style 6PPC USA to be specific correct? Also, thanks for the help you all.....

Don't fret too much. There are 6PPC USA rifles out there. Someone will buy it.

Norma 6PPC brass is being used by several benchrest shooters. They do well with it or they wouldn’t be shooting it.

Market those to the guys with ruger or sako 6ppc usa chambers. That old brass is getting harder to find for their guns and the regular ppc brass doesnt fit just right. Should be worth $1/ea id say if a guy was wanting some
