I had a Savage 10FP,.308) I converted to the 6X45 last year and do not regret the change. The only change I would like to make is the stock, I has a Bell & Carlson tactical style but would like to have a brenchrest stock instead. As far as accuracy I'm shooting mid 2's with a Shilen 1:12 twist with Berger 60gr and 66gr Match FB High BC pebbles at 100 yards. Good luck and good shooting with whatever you decide to build.
