6mmPPC in an AR15 with a slight problem

Ok this is my first post hear I hope I don't sound like an idiot. I have a 6mm ppc in an ar-15 I am haveing trouble with it not wanting to camber a shell properly. It will fire the first round and eject it just fine it will chamber the second round but the both does not close all the way to let the loaded round fire. Obviously since the round in not chambered all the way it is very difficult to eject the non fired round using the charging handle. I have checked all the loaded ammo I have and the brass is just over the max case length in my hornady book of 1.503 I think. So I took a piece of fired brass and put it trough a new RCBS full length die and trimed to 1.493 trim length according to the same book. Dropped it into the rifle and basicly the same problem. I am using a 6.5 grendel 5 round mag. Could it be that the bolt is sticking and not letting the bolt turn once it is released? or the headspace is off. I bought the barrel and bolt used with several peices of brass and mags the seller realy spoke highly of this round and combo. I must say I was impressed by the accuracy of this round even though I have oonly fired it a few times it does group very well it is just not dependable. Any help would be great I can get more info if you need it I am willing to try anything. Thanks Gary

Sounds like you are not re-sizing your brass and bumping the head space of the resized brass enough for it to chamber. Look at the info page on my website for info on this issue.

I did what you said to try Robert and every round I fired cycled perfectly. Now I just need to load more bullets and get a good load worked up. Thanks Agian Gary
