6mmBR magazine conversion

I saw the Bryant conversion magazine. My doubt is, instead of modifying a .308win box magazine, will it work on using a .223 box magazine,with .223 mag springs) with the shorter 308win follower?

As I will have to buy the magazine box, I was thinking on buying the .223rem size, so I would not have to cut the sides and install the block, as the .223rem box mag already have the block.

Will it work?

Although I haven't done one, I would assume the 223 size is not wide enough to accommodate the BR diameter.

Alf, You are correct. But, the mags for the 6mmAR might be modified to work. Robert Whitley may have some knowledge of that
