Hi Guys,
The Max overall length for the 6mmBR carrying a 68grn Berger FB is 2.212" in my new 14 twist Cooper Arms Varminter.
That is with "0" engagement into the lands
The base of the bullet is about 3/4 down the neck.
A 70grn SMK has only about .100" of base into the neck
This seems to me to be quite a long throat for a 14 twist barrel and i am wondering if the large amount of bullet jump with light bullets in the 55-60grn bracket will affect accuracy?
Thanks.
Ian.
