6mmBR and Varget

When I load Varget in my 6BR I get four in one hole and 1 flier about 1/2" out of the group. No mater what bullet I use 107 SMK, 105 Nosler, 95 Berger VLD. I have not changed primers yet. I am using CCI 450's. Have tried different powder charges and seating depts. I've tried H4895 and it doesn't throw a flier but my groups are not as tight. And it is not the same shot that it does throw a flier. It might be the 2nd shot, it might be the forth shot. Never the same number of shot. Just wondering if anybody has seen the same thing or has any recommendations.

I would suspect that its more likely to be a neck tension issue or something other then the varget. Possibly clean and debur the flash hole also if you havent. Unless of course your not measuring each charge. Which i imagine you are just by the equipment you mentioned. So many people have good luck with 6mmbr and varget. I doubt that the 450 primers are causing it either. I just ran a test over a chrono of 4 different primers with 29.8 varget and 105 amax. the cci 450 and 400 both were very consistant. 400 being a 16 fps diffenence 450 being 24. remington 7 1/2 were like 50-60 i dont remember exactly.

Have someone that really knows what they're doing look carefully at the crown's condition on your barrel. In my experience if you've tried all the other variables you stated it is either you or the crown. I'm thinking it is the crown. WD
