6mm Rem./RL17 QuickLoad request

I would really appreciate it if somebody with QuickLoad would post a recipe for 6mm Rem. and RL17 with (1) 87gr V-Max and (2) 95gr SMK. The gun has a 24" 1:10 twist barrel (I know with respect to the 95gr SMKs).

Thanks.

I have two 6mm Remingtons and found RL17 too fast in those bullet weights. H4350 is a better choice for the 95 SMK. My best load for the 95 was:

Winchester brass - 56.9 water capacity
Sierra 95 MK seated 3.020 (+.005)
46.0 H4350
Wolf KVB-7
Avg. ~3260 from 25.5" barrel, single-digit ES/SD

This was shot in a barrel near the end of life and should be reduced 10% and incremented by 1%.

If you want to try RL17 with the 87, start at 43.5 and work up. I would not go much below 43.0 as that is about 84% capacity. Attached is the QL workup. Note that 60ksi is reached at only 90% fill.

I use RL17 to fireform brass in my 243ACK with the 87gr VMAX. I use 43.5gr of RL17 bullet stuffed into the lands. I haven't chronied the loads yet but they shoot pretty good.

Thanks all. I have some H4350, but a lot more RL17, which I like a lot for my 260, thus my interest.

I thought RL17 burned slower than H4350, somewhere between H4350 and H4831? I have also read here and in the reloading manuals that you can't go wrong with IMR4350 and 6mm Rem., which according to the burn rate charts, has a slightly faster burn rate than H4350.
