6mm rem. 10 twist

I have a 6mm rem. - 10 twist 22" shillen barrel on the way. Looking for some loads in 90 grain range. Hope to use as deer rifle next season.

I would give the 87gr. Vmax a try in that barrel, the 95gr berger hunting vld is an excellent bullet also but is kinda on the edge for a 10 twist barrel but I would definitely give it a try also. As for powder charge you'll get all kinds of different replies on charges because whats good in one gun may not be in another.
I recommend starting with mid range book charges and work up to the load your
gun shoots best and look for signs of pressure on the way up. Also you may want to tell what the rifle is this will help us give a better recommendation

I use RL 15 in 243 and 80 gr bullets for deer.

Check Alliants site and see what they say esp w/ their RL17-it came out since I got a big jug of RL15. Im probably set for life.

My go to antelope load out here in my .243 is the 95g nosler hunting BT & its accurate as heck to 700 yards, runs around 3100fps.
Drops em on the spot w/a shoulder heart/lung shot. I also have been shooting barnes 80g ttsx also, & that runs in the 3200 fps factor.
