6mm Rem barrel

Found a new Lilja 6mm Rem barrel #4 that can be finished to 27" that a guy ordered and never took, but it has a 13 twist. Is the 13 twist good for anything. Was thinking about it on a Rem 700 LA

13" twist would be nice for the Berger target bullets,... BR column, 65 BT target and the 68 FB target.

Problem is the #4 lilja contour is a skinny barrel, thus only good for things like coyotes with a 13" twist.

But the Berger 68gr FB target bullet in the 6mmRem out a 27" bbl should have no problems surpassing 3,900 fps with RL-17

All 3 of those bullets love a 14 or a 15 twist- if youre looking for velocity numbers.

I have a 6MM Remington Lilja barrel with a 12 twist on a Remington 700 action, the barrel is 26” long and I shoot 70 grain ballistic tips or 65 grain VMax bullets and I can’t guess the WV groundhogs I’ve taken with that gun. Of course it shoots 80 grain Berger’s the best but is plenty accurate with the two I mentioned.
