6mm ppc

I find that the Alpha is about .3 to .4 grains different in my Rifles. In other words. 30.4 with the Lapua is equal to a flat 30.0 with alpha. That gives the same tune and velocity.

As for Speedy, I assume he was shooting Alpha. Conry was shooting Lapua.

I am going to call BS on this. Link me to the video and tell me the time within it where he said that.
Absatutely.
His recent Alpha video talks about zero case loss, zero primer picket issue in Tx match shooting 30 gr or so over weekend in 100 deg temps.
Even mentioned selling his stash of gold box.
Alpha has made the entire BR world easier.

with N133 powder was would max load be with a 68 graib flat base bullet.barrel is a 1 in 14 twist 6 grove hart.action is a stole.am shooting 28.2 and even with varing setinting depths it is holding .3 5 shot groups.i would like to go up 2 grains at a time.i see that some shoot 29.0 to 30.0 with this bullet.any thoughts on this .
I was loadinf 29 grains of N133 pushing a 70 grain Sierra HPBT until I started primers queen, crater, and eventually pierce. I backed off to 28 grains and pressure signs subsided. I used to use H332 but liked N133. When my eyes were better, the same gun Schillen 6 groove 19" barrel, Remington 100XP action and a 4oz Jewell trigger would shoot in the high zeros but now older eyes I'm in the high teens. My Lapua 220 Russian (reformed to 6PPC) is now being replaced with Alpha brass and that chrongraphs about 4'/second faster (about 3004'). Whichever brass I shoot, I still have to thin the neck walls to .085; loaded neck cannot exceed .261.
With that barrel/action combo you could shoot in the teens. PRACTICE!
Other keys are a decent rest and scope.
Enjoy benchrest shooting
