My PPC is a factory Sako 6mm PPC USA with a 24" barrel. I have tried several loads. One that shoots good is the 58 gr Barnes V- A -Tor over 27.8 grs of N-133 lit with a CCI 450 in a Norma case. Vel is 3192 ft/sec. Mild load but very accurate. Another is the same bullet over 28.5 grs of Lt-32 lit with a CCI 450 in a Norma case. Vel is 3330 ft/sec.

twwwwist of barrel is 1/14..shooting is informal just my 16 year old grandson and me.e have a realy nice 100 yard range about 5 miles from our houses.also some groundhog hunting on several fams near me.max range at them is about 300 yards.the rifle is a stole action light varmint hart barrel .it is waring a 36 power leapould scope also.cases are lapua necked turned .chamber is .262 neck

Okay, it sounds like it's set up for benchrest shooting. Try a 65 gr match bullet with 29 gr (+/- 1 gr) of N133. 3300 to 3400 fps.

Thanks.....For non-sanctioned SR-BR matches ( like The Tack Driver ) it was well thought out. I DO prefer 2 port actions but this Hall is perfectly timed and a pleasure to run. I had never shot a 6ppc this heavy, it definitely left me grinning.

Yeah that’s really cool! I can imagine how fun that is to shoot with it being 6.5lbs heavier than a typical PPC bench rifle. That’s definitely a sweet build for tack driver
