6mm LSI

Toney

I think you will have trouble pushing the shoulder back to leave you with a .350" neck in one shot (you may need multiple forming dies just to do that). The 6mm Super LR has a neck of around .321" and I consider I am just about at max with one die doing that. My suggestion is experiment first and make sure you can do what you want to do before you assume you can do it without issue.

my 6bg case neck is .330 chamber is .340 so .330 is trim to length . ihave no trouble pushing either win or rem 243 cases back using a forester fl 6XC die ieven use .308 cases some times in steps .260 rem,.243, 6BG just for the heck of it after reading the above i pushed a couple an exrta .02 for a .350 neck worked ok of course this is a 30 d shoulder i dont have any 40d dies, your results may vary. Thnx for inputs
So pushing back to 40' should be a none issue

Ordered a 243AI body die so i can start playing with this concept

hopefully have some cases made up this weekend

To easy
forgot to update post
Used a 243AI die with some of base machined off to allow for correct neck length and shoulder forming
Once i got die setup correctly no harder than resizing brass, result is very good i would say 95% formed, firing may sharping shoulder up but they look good as is.
